Title: Destiny Solid Blue/Black
Post by: BallReviews-scodaddy21 on June 27, 2018, 12:45:22 PM
The Ebonite Destiny Solid was designed to give a smooth overall hook on medium oil. The Cyclone Torque core is surrounded by a GB 11.2 Solid coverstock sanded down to a 3000 Grit Abralon Sanding Pad finish to create this reaction. This bowling ball offers a smashing value for your dollar!

I was pretty bummed when I heard the Cyclones were going away as the Cyclone was the best bang for your buck there was. Then, Ebonite did it again, they upgraded the Cyclone by giving us the Destiny!!!!

For me, the solid was a must have as I wished for a solid Cyclone. So this made sense, then I saw the cover... this shares the same cover found on the GB2 Phenom Pearl. I love Phenom Pearl so to have it in a solid was great as well.

I went with a 50x4.25x40 layout, and got a very predictable smooth rolling ball. This is easily 3-5 boards more than a Cyclone with less angularity down lane. Ball is very clean through fronts and very controlled motion. This will get a lot of use on sport patterns when needed to control my shapes.

If you liked or loved the Cylcones, don't miss out on these. The Destiny is just an upgrade and are still the best bang for the buck!!
