 COMMENTS
This is one heavy rolling ball.  It revs quickly off  the hand, but gets through the fronts well.  The change of direction is moderately quick and very assertive, but it does not over react. After the ball makes its move, it goes into a heavy tumbling roll that carries the pins as well as any ball I’ve thrown.  This ball also responds very well to hand position and release changes.  I’ve been able to roll it straight up the outside on the THS with excellent results.  Even on the fresh, the dead man’s curve pattern required that you go slightly away from the pocket, and the EXCEED provided the perfect look.  By the fourth game of the block, it did begin to leave some corners on subpar releases as I migrated left into my “nosebleed” zone.  Fitting between the CHALLENGE and the INNOVATE,  the EXCEED is one great ball and will see a lot of use.

Comments:
Exceed is an earlier rolling piece than the Innovate, and with the layout chosen allows me to play a smaller hook. This was intended for shorter patterns which I normally play on in my local area, but our league decided to put out longer patterns recently. Exceed handled the 44 flat pattern as well as can be expected, and on Deadman's Curve it was the best piece, playing a small flat angle to start and then going away from the pocket later on.
The change of direction at the backend is strong, and Exceed should be an excellent piece on house conditions as well.

My Exceed is drilled 20x5.5"x30 with a p4 gradient line balance hole. My home center oils 43 feet and is very heavy. This ball reads the midlane very well. It gets into a nice forward roll at the pins. It carries great on this long pattern. The surface is very versatile and works best for me with a light 2000 abralon finish. This would be a great ball for anyone who likes to open up the lanes on a heavy/ fresh oil pattern. It responds to friction bery fast and is continuous through the pin deck. Great ball from Ebonite!! It compliments the Innovate perfectly!!! Bowl to Win!!!

The Exceed has a strong heavy roll and can be used on heavier oil patterns. The ball allows me to open up the lane on a fresh oil pattern. The forward roll on the ball is very strong and continuous.

My Exceed is drilled with the pin over the middle finger and the CG is about four inches below the pin. The ball gets through the heads clean and starts its motion mid-lane. It has a strong reaction towards the pocket. Even after the lanes begin to transition, I can move into a deeper part of the lane and still get the continuous back-end reaction along with carrying the corner pins. This ball is a true compliment to the Innovate.
