I drilled mine 55-4.5-40 with a collection of other balls, with the same layout. This asymmetrical hybrid has become my second ball out of the bag for my league season. I’ve modified the surface and have left it at 500-1k-3k without any shine. This allows the ball to precess properly after some early transition, without the over-reaction of friction downlane. Would highly recommend for higher speed players as the One core has a lower rg which will help the ball motion occur quicker on the lanes.

Great shelf appeal! Great performance! The Encore will be the go to ball when The One Remix isn’t turning the corner or isn’t quite strong enough for the condition.

The One Encore works very good for me on the longer patterns where I need the ball to get down the lane and not burn up. Strong backend which works good when it comes off the end of the pattern.

Layout: 55 x 5 x 40

More hook than you realize to sum it up. The One series has notoriously been a smooth ball with quite a bit of hook out of the box. This one hooks 3-4 more than the One Remix. With the symmetrical core, it’s going to have a predictable motion on the backend, but the strength of the cover may give you less downlane due to an earlier ball roll.

After putting about 15 games on the ball, it's tamed down a bit, but provided even more control and well roundedness.
