Had this Gem for three plus weeks. The Phenom was pretty early but still had some pop on the back. My low rev players loved it. The Pearl as you can imagine is longer with more angle. I had  a  four bagger in each game last league night. I unfortunately missed most single pin spares. I moved further right than I normally target.
THIS Ball gets down the lane very easily . I have using Missions mostly. For me, more all around hook.
Even with pretty good angle, I find the Phenom Pearl to be pretty predictable.
So lets see, easy lenght, great angle and you know what it is gonna do.
It is a Game Breaker, it is a winner.

This ball is finally the pearl version of the GB2 Phenom that we have been missing in the EBI line.  This ball gets down the lane effortlessly and still has plenty of back end.  This has been my go to ball on our league shot as I can stay to the right longer than with the original GB2 Phenom and still be able to carry the corner pins.

Dislikes:
Seems to struggle just a bit with higher volumes of oil.

Layout:
5 x 5  PIN over bridge. No extra hole.
BOX Specs: 4-5" pin, 3.25oz

Review:
This layout and pearl cover provides more length that the GB2 Phenom. I played about 2 boards further right with the pearl compared to the solid. This ball would perform best on medium to drier lanes for medium to higher ball speed. When the GB2 Phenom begins to stand up early, this balls will serve as the go to ball. If you're looking for a ball to provide length, consistency and the power the GB2 offers, this is it. This ball will be in my ball for sure especially when bowling on shorter patterns and lower volumes of oil.

1st thing -  I'm not a staffer

Love the GB2 solid.
Did not match up with the GB2 gold - at all, couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
The GB2 Phenom is a good piece IMO as well.

This ball - GB2 phenom Pearl, I had high expectations on this piece
Strongest cover on a GB2 to date I'm told
I do have a tendency to help the ball sometimes and when I do with this ball at OBB, it would over - react, not as forgiving as others I have
Reworked the cover to 2000 + polish, now I had a house shot killer
Put pin in middle finger which is 5" pin-pap for me. Probably my favorite layout.
Very clean up front, stronger arcing motion like the other GB2 series pieces.
A little longer than the GB2 solid (as it should be)
In this case, its very continuous through the pins.
With this surface prep, on my THS, it matches up very well for me.
Can't put it down.
Tried on a 35" short sport pattern, was playable, but I'm thinking it would have read better for me if I had it at 1000 + polish like the factory OBB.
I'm having such a good look on this short pattern with my sideswipe solid that I didn't mess with the GB2 Phenom Pearl any longer on this pattern.
So, for $115 bucks, this ball has alot to offer IMO
Stays in my bag

A low RG, Medium Diff symmetric pearl is something I was missing in my bag, and the GB2 Phenom pearl produces exactly the reaction I was looking for.

When the front part of the lane begins to burn up and the GB2 Phenom is no longer an option, the GB2 Phenom Pearl will get through the front part of the lane with ease and provide plenty of motion down lane.

For me personally, this ball is an excellent ball for the recreational league pattern as it allows me to stay further right when the big ball assymetrics start to burn up in the front.  For tournament play, I find myself navigating to this ball later in blocks when the pattern has forced me left looking for length.  While strong enough to create enough angle for down lane recovery when the pattern has broken down, with the right surface adjustment, this ball will provide stability in the middle part of the lane when the pattern is fresh as well.
