Game Breaker 4 (GB4) Hybrid

Exceptional Ball Shape and Motion!

It has been a very long time since I have thrown an Ebonite ball.   Hybrid balls have worked incredible for me in the past and I had heard many great things about the Game Breaker line of bowling balls.  I have to say that I am very impressed with the GB4 Hybrid.  This ball has exceptional hook ability.  With the added HK22 additive to this ball, the backend ball reaction is just incredible!  I put a basic leverage drill layout in this ball.  It allows me to move more left and open the lanes up, knowing the ball will recover.  With my ball speed, I altered the surface a little to have the ball read more in the mid-lanes.  When this ball sees friction, it responds with dynamic ball shape and motion which makes pins just fly everywhere.  The big core with the HK22 additive makes this ball an incredible choice for all levels of bowling and is a must have in your bag.  This ball for me works on heavier volumes of oil with my surface adjustment.  Without altering the surface, this ball is very versatile and can be used on various lane of conditions.

The GB4 Hybrid is another staple in my bag! To ensure I have something different for transition in tournaments, I drilled this one 70 x 5 x 35, different from my 55 x 4.5 x 30. This has allowed me to use this during late games of tournaments when everyone is standing way left, I have been able to stand 5-10 more boards right of them with this ball. This ball clears the fronts really well and with a quick response on the backend, but with enough continuation to carry the ugly 10 pins. This ball is really great for any bag, especially for a tournament bag.

This GB4 hybrid is everything you liked from the Pearl with just a bit more versatility and predictability. I’ve been able to use it on all types of patterns and it never fails to impress. I’ve already drilled up two more just because it’s that good!

Game Breaker 4 Hybrid - House Patterns and Sport Patterns

FIRST GB I have seen that is this sharp my goodness the GB4 Hybrid has some tuck and roll to it.  This is a good benchmark ball that could tell you what the lanes are doing right away.  GB4 Hybrid gets up the lane then dives through the head pin that means the pattern is a little to short or the backends are to clean for it.  GB4 Hybrid just won’t make it up the hill then you know it might be too much volume.  Those are perfect reads in my opinion, bowlers usually want a bowling ball that is going to show them how it will act throughout the night.  I feel like the GB4 Hybrid is that person you take with you knowing they are going to be who they are no matter what is going on or who is around.  However, you always want them on your side.  When the GB4 Hybrid is digging through the volume perfectly and has the ability to finish at the pins I am not sure there is better piece to have in your hand.
