Just got my 14lb. Vital Sign. Decided to drop a pound in an effort to help with some arm problems I've battled this year. The ball is drilled with the pin just barely left of center, right below my fingers. The cg is kicked outside of the grip area. Bowled on a slightly used THS shot. Being a lefty, The lane I bowled on, the left side was pristine. I found that the Vital Sign was easy through the heads picking up in the midlane and finishing with a strong move to the pocket. The hit was stronger than I expected a 14lb. ball would be. I only had one shot that didn't rip the rack that I would have considered a 14lb. hit. I think the Vital Sign will also roll well when I encounter more oil. It looks as though I will be able to get more outside, still get through the heads and will have an even stronger move toward the pocket. I think this ball will cover many shots short of a flood. It will be a big part of my arsenal. I'm not sure why it has already been discontinued unless people are afraid of the ball death many attribute to Ebonite. This ball would seem to fit nicely under the original Mission.
