Evolve drill options
« on: January 03, 2010, 04:59:00 PM »
thinking of punching up a Evolve was wondering what type of drill patterns you guys like on this ball? What type of reaction do you see? Some say Control I have heard some say it is a monster on the backend.

Is it versitle? How does the cover last? Anybody have alot of games on their?

I have tried a couple of different layouts on mine. All in all my least favorite ball. It seems to work best on a tight line at least for me.

I've found that a longer pin from PAP works well with this ball. Mine is drilled 55 x 5 x 50, and is lengthy with very smooth transition and good continuation down the lane. I've seen a handful drilled stronger than mine and I'm not impressed. Many lose energy too quickly and never have enough energy to continue through the pins.

As for coverstock durability, I've had mine since the release date and haven't had any problems.

In my opinion, GREAT ball!
