The break from 900global it is newer better stronger Black Widow, i will bet it does not die out either. Mine are still going strong about 35-40 games on my first one reaction is as good as when brand new.

Well from ebonite your 2 best suggestions would be the raid which has a pearl coverstock but it is a very smooth or angular reaction depending on drilling or maybe a gamebreaker. That would be my suggestion from ebonite. THe break does look good as well, there is also maybe a troad solid might be another choice would be a bit different but that is storm if you wanted to try that. Thoes would be the closest in my option. Then again you could just drill another black widow.

My vote would be for the BWP .I had  the solid and had loss of hook when it got oil soaked but I have at least 60 games on the pearl with no loss of hook.

Hey yoshii the real questions are how do you throw it, how was your BW set up and what type of reaction did you get? I think once we get this information it might be better to say weither maybe a bwp would be better or not. The reason I say this is because if he keeped his duller due to oil and got a smooth reaction on it then a bwp might not be a good choice unless he were to maybe set it up pin down or in the bridge. Cause that bwp really snaps hard lol.

i have my widow set up for skid flip. pin is above my fingers. i throw it down the boards mostly but i can swing it a tad. i dont power the ball. probably around 14mph just off my swing. i guess you can say it is a high backswing. ive tried many different things. slowing it down, speeding it up, swinging it more, throwing straight, 5 different houses. still barely anything out of it. when i get it NIB, it was a beast. just throw it out there and it would snap hard and hit like a truck. now it started to die out. have about 150-200 games on that ball though.

You have a Hammer and Columbia, so now you want to try Ebonite?  How about a flying leap and pick up something not made by Ebonite?  If you're replacing the BW, I'd go with a Break from 900 Global.  You might also like the Paradigm Domination from Storm or the new Attitude Shift, but with a finer finish.

well if that is the case then I would suggest a raid, BWP, T-road pearl, Domination, Toxic, T-road solid, angular one, maybe the new twisted fury. THat would be my suggestiongs because you said you liked the long and snap reaction and you would get it better with a pearl ball then a solid. Hope this helps at all.

Gamebreaker. The coverstock of the ball that you are considering, The One, matched with the core of one of the most popular balls ever made, the V2 Sanded. Great, smooth ball that would be a good replacement for your Black Widow.

Spot on. I have one, its a GREAT ball, another of my team members purchased one as well, after watching me throw mine, and throwing it a few times as well and he loves it.

The ball hits and carries like a truck. Great for a average speed bowler with good hand on a THS.

If you are looking for a replacement, why not just get another Black Widow?  Either that, or the Raid by Ebonite has an eerily similar look on the lane (roll/reaction) as the BW.  Something else to consider.
