What's the difference between these?
« on: November 16, 2009, 02:16:47 AM »
1.GAMEBREAKER
 2.PIN SLASHER
 3.PLAYMAKER

I already know the difference in coverstocks, I want to know the actual difference in reaction between these balls.

The Playmaker was longer with more kick on the backend.  The Gamebreaker was a few feet sooner in the midlane with a continuous backend reaction, not flippy.  The Pin Slasher had the most aggressive cover of the 3, handled oil better than the previous two, and most overall hook.

Sorry to hijack thread but a question.
I'm a Gamebreaker fanatic. Mine is drilled 4" x 4", pin over ring finger. Very versatile ball for me. Contemplating a Playmaker or a Lane Breaker for better length, similar reaction with a little more pop at the bereakpoint. I can play a variety of shots, prefer the track and moving deeper as opposed to going right. Can anyone compare Playmaker and Lane Breaker for me. Thanks.

I would go for the lanebreaker as i've had both the playmaker and lanebreaker and you will get the length out of the Lanebreaker plus a nice pop at the break point.

Much lower RG on the Playmaker than the Lanebreaker. I have two LB's and they are both versatile balls. The PM seems to roll heavier in the midlane so a lot depends on what angle you are looking to play as you move deeper.

Thanks guys. Had a gamebreaker that I liked, just wished for a LITTLE more length and backend.  Guess I'll have to check out the playmaker.
