Ebonite Clash (original)
« on: April 05, 2009, 07:01:36 AM »
Don't normally review balls but this is one of the better balls I have seen since the Blue Vibe. Good length with a very strong motion towards the pocket. The hit is tremendous and the reaction shape fits all sorts of bowlers. Knock the polish off and this Phased Bomer Reactive handles more oil. One OOB and one dull could be a great 2 ball arsenal. Put your favorite drill on them and rock on!

I just picked up a Teal & Purple Clash.
How does it compare to the original Clash?

The core and covers are different. 1st clash has a low rg light bulb core which revs up harder and earlier with a weaker surface. 2nd clash has a weaker core and stronger cover, so its more arc with less overall kick.

both good balls, but are completely different from eachother.

Hope it isn't as weak as the Hammer Razyr?
I'm thinking of drilling it for a light-medium condition on old Guardian surface...I'm looking for something that I can play outside of 15 on the left side. I have a Hammer Emerald Vibe, which I may drill up, also.

Actually both Clash's use Modified Phase Bomber Reactive with different cores. Your Clash will be stronger with alittle more angularity than the Hammer Razyr. The Hammer Emerald is a stronger ball and will have alot more backend than the your Clash.

Gazoo,
Thanks, the Clash may be what I'm looking for.
