Now, this is all just petty semantics, but, nonetheless, I feel it's necessary to post.

"One" is a definite number. You can say that you have one of something. One apple, for instance.
"Infinite" or infinity is indefinite. Its the idea of the largest number possible, but we can't quite put our finger on it, so we call it infinity. It keeps going and has no end.

So "Infinite" and "One" don't really go together. It's kind of an oxymoron. Infinity is really big; one is really small. Infinity can't be defined; one certainly can be.

Unless I'm missing something, the name doesn't make any sense. Assuming I'm not missing something, maybe someone can explain who came up with this name and what they intended?

P.S. This reminds me of "The Simpsons" episode where a nerd pointed out a small, insignificant error in an Itchy & Scratchy cartoon to the voice actor of Itchy & Scratchy and commented in a nasally voice "I hope somebody got fired for that one."
