Infinite One Crack

Anything I can do about this? Will this affect the ball at all? I bought this ball, but was unaware it had a crack on it (I got a good deal, or so I thought). Would I be able to drill out the crack and pin, etc, and then plug it and be fine?

Thanks for any help.

Take it as you want cause I've never had an Ebonite ball.  But from my experience that crack won't cause any issue unless it starts cracking worse.  I've seen balls have those types of cracks and never get any worse after hundreds of games..

Having worked for ebonite in the past, I know exactly what they will tell you:

It is called spider cracking. It comes from using glue and grips. Makes the area around the grips very brittle and creates those cracks very often.

Usually they don't do anything about it. Also  that the pin is so close to the fingers that voids all warranties as well.

Where are you from?

I would send ebonite an email direct and see what they say. They might get you in touch with the local sales rep in your area

Thanks, I just sent one from their website. If they can't do anything, I just hope it won't get any worse.

I had a Big One that cracked. Ebonite replaced it and paid the shipping. Hope everything works out OK for you.
