Anybody have a Gyro?
« on: February 22, 2005, 06:38:12 AM »
I was given an old Gyro by grandfather when he died.
I know nobody else that has one and I havn't seen
them on the internet. Is there anyone else who has
one and how old are they? Mine still works great,
it's my favorite ball.

Depending on which model of Gyro, it could be from the late 1960's or as new as 1980ish.

It's a dark midnight blue Gyro with just the name
Gyro on it.

I own 2 of them the blue urethane ones great spare/dry lanes ball when dulled alittle, polished it i used it as a spare ball. MAkes 3-10s easy because it hooks about 2-3 boards polished and dull i could use it up the 5 board all night.

The Gyro I am using hooks way to much to be a spare ball.
I don't think I would be able to control it well enough
for that.
