I wondered how long this would take.

I saw TJ and Couch using these babies last week in England at the Weber Cup. They looked very good. Exactly what you would expect out of a very low RG pearl.

So THAT'S what TJ is using on the show today...

Looks to me like Tommys throwing the Angular One.

Well, with the only difference being black versus purple it would be difficult to tell the difference without seeing the logo.  As usual the PBA did a decent job at keeping the logo out of the shot.

That was the angular one that tommy was tossing. It showed it because of the back, red, and silver color in that ball. Also there was one shot that they showed of his in slow mo on the deck and you can see the 12.7gbv logo

At the very beginning of the show you could see the Angular One logo.

Tommy picked a bad day to use a pearl - too much carrydown.

I thought he had the best shot on the show. but it looked to me like the left lane was playing tighter and he wasn't using as much angle as he was on the left lane. The shot in the roll off if he would have thrown that shot on the right lane it would have been dead flush.

Just my take on it.

Even with the aggressiveness of this coverstock it is still going to get affected that much by carrydown?  Or is that mostly due to the highly polished nature of the ball?

Not due to the shine but to the pearlization.
