Currently have a cyclone for 2nd/3rd game burnt lanes that works great.It is drilled pin just under ring finger and C/G in middle grip C/L 3.5" apart.

Really like the length with strong B/E. If only it could do the same on Fresh.

Want to get another for fresh medium if it could get some traction on the B/E.

Any rec's on surface change or drilling that might do this without messing up
the length. Thinking 2000 or something but afraid the will read to early and possibly have to much arc.

Help me out please. I am 95% sure the ball was drilled strong per mfg specs.

I was there with both the pro and driller with my well established PAP.

A comment was said that with the pin ending up just under the ring finger a more controlled action was probable.

So if this happens again do we purposely say put the pin up. With this type of ball there is nothing gained by messing with the C/G or M/B location -- correct?

The GB 10.7 coverstock is very versitile,and could be easily altered to handle all but the heaviest conditions. I have one that is at 2000 with a pin down layout, and is the first ball out of the bag on league night. When the pattern breaks down,I can then switch to my pin up Cyclone which is at 4000 grit, and heavily polished.They make a very nice 1-2 punch.

Thanks for the suggestions. I took the Cyclone to 2000 and it worked perfect, real nice action on fresh medium wood. Have tried Fringe, Backdraft, Slingslot and the new Frenzy (agreed all not for fresh medium but hoping). Nothing that fits my hand.

I am going to order a couple of Cyclones and sell the others and be done with it.
