Ball comparison
« on: January 18, 2013, 09:41:35 AM »
How does the Innovate compare with the Endure?  If you were only going to carry two balls (not including plastic) and one of them would be the red Mission, which one of these would be the best choice for the second ball?  Is there something else that might be a better choice?

Thanks for the help.

The Endure and Innovate are two different animals...Endure is symmetric core with a hybrid cover, while the Innovate is asymmetric core with more of a pearl cover.

To answer your question, it depends on what type of ball reaction you are looking for, the Endure is more of a continous arc reaction while the Innovate is gonna be longer and stronger on the back typically. Without knowing your specs like pap, ball speed, tilt etc all I have to go on is the nature of the two balls.

Hope this helps somewhat...

I'd go innovate.  It has a bigger difference in "job description" from the mission, than the endure.

The Innovate is a fantastic piece.  This tends to be my go to ball when the lanes go through transition.  The cover is really clean through the fronts but being a lower RG core it still reads the mid lane very well.  The response off the dry is a hard arch but controllable. The core is very continuous through the pins and carries very well. If you are wondering how to drill the Innovate, drill it as close to your Mission as possible and it will be great 1-2 punch. The Innovate is also a great piece to Start out with if the lanes start out with medium to lighter volumes were other stronger covers burn too early and cause lose of carry.  The Innovate is probably the most used ball in my arsenal.  Drill one up and you should not be disappointed.
I would probably shy away from the Endure if you like the Mission so much.  The Endure's cover has a much quicker response off the oil onto the dry than the Innovate and Mission.  This will cause confusion at times if you like the read the Mission gives you, the Endure is going to give you little to control when the lanes go through transition.  Just my opinion and experience with all the pieces mentioned.
