I am going to post this in a few different brand boards. When I ended my winter league, I was loving my Hy-Road. But there were a few nights where I needed something with a little more pop. What in the Ebonite line would fit the bill? I am open to trying any brand to find the ball that works. I appreciate you taking the time.

are you looking for something with more back end or just something with a similar shape and a little stronger?

hyroad pearl will get more length and more backend pop and the rocket will be atad earlier shape shape with continuation

in the EBI line i would look at the columbia blur pearl or track mx10 or the hammer arson high flare

I'd agree with this, especially for the Hammer line. as for Ebonite, I'd actually wait. They've been back in the lab with pen and paper, and have been the quietest of all of the EBI brands. Sure, they have the GB2 and the GB2 pearl coming out, but I'm not sure if they would fit the bill here, nor the Code of Honor, either. But with 2 new balls coming out, they may have something.

So it may be better to wait it out.

Don't sleep on the Honor and I liked the Salute as well very good piece.
But I agree I think the GB Gold pearl will be a good ball...

Is the blur pearl really that strong of a ball off the spot?

I would take either. What I see is some nights the Hy-Road just doesn't have enough pop to it. It leaves a flat 10, but if I make the adjustment right, then it hooks too much. So I need something that can either start up a little sooner and retain enough energy to carry, or something with more backend that can kick out the 10's. I am open to either and just looking for some feedback from the experts from a bunch of manufacturers.
