drilling for V2 DRY?

I'm wondering if it's only logic to drill this ball leveage because of the super low differential, any drilling less than a strong layout (leveage) will will receive 1/2 of flare. I'm thinking that leveage will give you max 1 1/2" of flare.
Brain or Jeff if you out there please give your opinions.

With such a low diff you would hardly see any difference between a leverage drilling and another drilling. It is less dynamic than a traditional pancake weight block. I saw Mika Kouvuniemi use it a couple of weeks ago and his (drilled leverage) flared less than 1" (in the oil) to make it flare more you would have to use a big balance hole. So to me the most logic (and easy) way to drill it would be a label drilling.

I would put your favorite drilling on it.  I have a Beast Pearl (15# has a differential of 0.016) with the pin at 4.5" from my PAP and the CG in the middle of my grip.  I have no problem using the Beast under any normal house condition.

I finally got Ebonite's web site to load, must need to delete my cookies for it to recognize the new site.  Diff of 0.004.  Very low indeed.  I agree with InternationalBowler.  The drill you choose won't have much effect on the flare.

It's a ball for dry lanes. Why would you want it to flare?

I drilled one of mine 5" @ 65 degrees, pin over the fingers. I left it box finish with no hole. I used it some this past weekend in a PBA format tournament. I was almost in front of the ball return the last couple of games and went to the V2 Dry. I was already in the cut so i just wanted to figure things out for the next day. I figured there was no way i would be able to strike much with that ball from that angle but it did. I was surprised on how continuous the backend was. I liked the ball before, now i really like it !!!
