drilling the magic?
« on: March 17, 2009, 01:29:48 AM »
ok so i am going to drill it.now I am looking for suggestions on a strong set up.I am a tweener 15 mph low rev player. needing something that will work in carry down, and, well, carry.I typically have drilled my equipment with a 4 x 2 drill .my pap is 4.5 x 1/2. I have an nvd with this set up and its pretty strong, but i polished it to make it more versatile and dont want to change surfaces every time i bowl. most everything i have is drilled like this ,but i think i need a change . my stuff is goog until i encounter heavier oil and carry, and or choppy wet /dry. and no coaching is less of an option at this point. So any and all advice will be appreciated

toomany, drill it pin under, put the weight hole on the midline, and knock the polish off if there is some on it. Mine for some reason had polish on it, even though the box shows 4000 abralon. Since you like the roll of the nvd, this ball will go longer by nature, drill it a little stronger to start up a little sooner.
