I just dropped from a 15lb. to a 14lb. ball and my proshop guy suggested I
try the Savage Pearl as a good skid/snap ball for medium light to medium
conditions. This is a great ball and really snaps hard on the backend. Now I
need something that will give me the same reaction but with more length
to handle the dry conditions which I see a lot in my area.
I was wondering if the Tornado Sparkle would be a good choice. Any
help would be appreciated.

I love the Blue/Violet Tornado Sparkle! I can't get enough of it! I hope Ebonite never discontinues it!!!
It's a perfect Medium/Dry lane ball! Not just regular Medium Oil and not totally Dry lanes, but Medium/Dry lanes! It's got amazing carry for it's relatively "weak" core!!! It has a ton of length and a great strong backend.
I've got mine drilled with the PIN above the ring and the CG kicked out 1/2" from my center line.
It kind of has the "heavy" type of roll of a particle ball, but I guess that comes from it having a slightly aggressive coverstock that was used on the Tiger? I would say the V2 Dry is one step below it... do you agree Jeff???
And Jeff, is the Blue/Violet a pearl in any way, or just a polished solid? I know the Tiger is a pearl, so that's why I'm asking.
Thanks!

The XXXL is EXCELLENT for Dry lanes. The only Plastic ball with a weight block, which makes it hit harder than any other Plastic ball, and it actually has movement, while being a great spare ball.
