New C300 Nitrous color
2 new Cyclone colors
New Track Spare+ color
And 3 colors for this new Ebonite Turbo/R, light bulb core with GB 10.7 hybrid it looks like.

The Track Spare+ now has the same colors as the Mako. It would be kind of funny if there was a mixup at the factory and Makos got poured in polyester and Spare+s poured in reactive resin.

Anybody know if the Turbo/r is using the old TurboX core.Probably not since it was a no filler ball.Just curious as I sure won alot of money with the TurboX.The specs look ok for me being rev dominant .Might be a good dryer lane option.

Might be a good dryer lane option.
I wouldn't think it'd be a good dry lane option, it has the GB 10.7 cover. I'd expect it to offer good performance for a cheap price just like the Cyclones

It's the more recent Deep Freeze core:

Yeah. Even if the 10.7 cover might start showing it's age with the newer oils (if your center uses them at least) dry is dry and it's always going to be strong off of it.

Well the RG is 2.59 Diff is .035 which is much less than a Cyclone. So yes it is a dryer lane option.

Sure, the core says a weaker, or at least later reaction, ball. But the cover doesn't. And that's the part of the ball that has a bigger factor in determining strength. The Turbo/R will definitely be marketed as something for drier lanes but I would be very skeptical about it actually working out that way if it's the same GB 10.7 cover formula. Especially for someone rev dominant.

Well with Cyclones being RG 2.53 Diff 0.53 same cover The Turbo will be much weaker.I have used the Cyclones as a Dryer lane option. The Gamebreaker2 MVP RG 2.48 Diff .048 which I throw is same cover and there is no comparison.Unless its complete toast the Cyclones are not that strong.

can someone make a list of the balls EBI has released since last bowl expo? Has to be near 50
-
That red-white-blue Cyclone looks pretty sweet.

I really don't like it when ball companies take a classic name (i.e., Turbo or Rhino) and slap it on a modern day ball that is weaker than what the original ball was in its time.
If you are going to bring back the name, then bring back the performance too (for today's conditions)!

I had a solid Cyclone! It was not a dry lane piece. I guess everything is subjective, though. I am rev dominant.
So, an RG of 2.53, with a diff of .053, on a GB10.7 covered ball tells me it's a medium ball, with a big backend to it.
The dryer the lanes the bigger that backend will appear, however. Just saying.

Turbo line will sell under Cyclone line.

Dang, can we PLEASE get an original black Turbo urethane?
Just like the original. Even the logos. NO fancy updates or "improvements".
OK, maybe a small 2 in the center of the turbine, but that's all. Turbo 2
We had the V2, now how about the T2?
Did I say PLEASE?
PRETTY PLEASE?

It is named TURBO R. That might be a clue as to what is next?

I'm loving the specs on the Turbo. I had a nice 1100 4 game set with the Hard Ball back in the day. 3 3/3" pin with a huge xhole down on the VAL. LOTS of backend on a house shot.
