Stinger Hybrid and Stinger Pearl
« on: October 22, 2020, 12:07:55 AM »

Ebonite is finally starting to catch up with lost time for promotional work since the Brunswick acquirement. With that, they finally posted about the Stinger Hybrid and Stinger Pearl.

The Hybrid was released in Japan in April 2020, with the following specs:

Stinger Hybrid:
Cover: Detonator 2020 Hybrid
Core: Stinger
OOB Finish: 1000 Micropad/Crown Factory Compound
RG: 2.517
Differential: 0.035

The Pearl came out in June, with this:

Stinger Pearl:
Cover: Detonator 2020 Pearl
Core: Stinger
OOB Finish: 500 Micropad/Crown Factory Compound
RG: 2.517
Differential: 0.035

The finish is what is different for what is released in the US:

Stinger Hybrid (US):
Cover: Detonator 2020 Hybrid
Core: Stinger
OOB Finish: 500/1000 Siaair/Crown Factory Compound
RG: 2.517
Differential: 0.035

Stinger Pearl (US):
Cover: Detonator 2020 Pearl
Core: Stinger
OOB Finish: 500/1000 Siaair Crown Factory Compound/Crown Factory Polish
RG: 2.517
Differential: 0.035

RG and Differential are all for 15lb balls.

I'm not liking the camera angles for the US demo, because you're only seeing overhead, not behind, downlane, etc. But with similar specs, there wouldn't be much difference. Links for the Japanese demo and US demo are below.
