Title: Ebonite cyclone

So I ordered up a Cyclone today. I haven't used a lower end ball in a long time. What can I expect drilled pin over ring finger.

Depends on how you throw the ball and the lane conditions.

Ball has a great cover, should be able to get a lot of use out of it.

Which one is it? It is not really a lower end ball. The only reason it seemed like a lower end ball was the original price point they started selling them at.

I have the solid, bright yellow swirled one and it is more of a medium-high end piece. I know a lot of guys bought the ones that looked pearlized, and they got much weaker reactions out of those. Not in my case, however.

Check the core. It's no pancake for sure!

For some reason, Ebonite set such a low price point on these
its really a HP ball which could easily be 150 bucks
always have one in my bag

Some think some are solids and others think some are pearls.  Yet, Rich Hanson Marketing Mgr. told me in a e-mail that the Cyclone is actually a hybrid.
Regardless, the Cyclone is a lot of ball for the money.  However, my wife's Cyclone (Black/Red/Yellow) is a oil soaker.  I have to de-oil it every two weeks or so to keep the reaction. High maintenance ball. Otherwise, I highly recommend this ball.
