As a polished hybrid the MVP is cleaner through the fronts than the original GB2 with a more angular move on the backend.  When the GB2 original begins to lose energy, I can switch to the MVP while staying in the same zone.  The MVP allows me to move a few boards deeper than the original while still maintaining good carry. The GB 10.7 cover stock and the enhanced V2 core are a great combination which work best for me on medium lane conditions.
