I've learned the video camera used is going bad by the quality seen after shooting the video. Sorry for that. You get a general idea lol
This is on our fresh house shot. The Ebonite Golden One and the Hammer Gauntlet Fury are drilled 60 x 5 x 60.
After throwing the Golden One I Switched to the Hammer Gauntlet Fury and stayed in the same spot to compare the two.
The Gauntlet Fury was cleaner through the front part of the lane for me. I struggled to keep the ball from sailing wide to the gutter. When I slowed it down enough to keep the Fury inside it was going to go through the face.
I think I could have moved a little further right with the Gauntlet Fury and had a better look overall. The Golden One kept getting better as I got loose. I finally found a good look inside keeping the ball around 8 down lane. Missing right was way too much friction and the ball would go through the face. Obviously this is a drier house shot.
I've got to use The Golden One on one sport condition where this ball gave me a great look inside. The Gauntlet Fury was too clean and unable to recover trying to play 23 to 10. The Golden One picked up nicely and finished driving the pocket where the Fury went through the 3 pin leaving the 1,2,4,6,10.
it appears very few are drilling them and everyone is just selling them off. I got mine for $195 shipped on ebay but everything else since then has been much higher. Great ball for the price I was able to get it for. Glad I bought it.

Nice video, that Golden one is cool looking as well as strong ball.

Love the One core and the look of this ball. After hearing so many people rave over the Choice Pearl and knowing that cover was being used on the Golden One. I figured it was a no brainer if I could get it at a reasonable price. Very happy with the decision.

$195 for a Golden One? Bloody well right you got a great deal on that! Congrats.
A Golden One found its way into a local pro shop here in town and I was able to eyeball it. The PSO basically has it hidden behind a ton of Storm Equipment, but last on the display area for the balls, and behind everything Storm (gee, can't tell which balls they prefer, can you?)...
They want $300 excluding fitting, drilling, grips/slug, etc.
BL.

Nice ball. I squirreled away a The One Miracle Buddies had on special but this ball looks a lot cleaner, more versatile and just plain prettier.

Recently saw another one pop up for around $200 either on ebay or facebook

Well as usual bowlinggems sets the ceiling price.
