Everyone I have talked to that has thrown this ball compares it to a One or a Widow when they were released. Different than everything through the pins. I expect you will see plenty of this ball prior to its Feb. 2nd release. This is an important release for Ebonite and I think we will get Hopkinsville's best.

Couldn't agree more about the Magic Action, have drilled them for a few customers that have both and they all remark how it is stronger down then the Mutant. They give me the "I was told Ebonite balls don't hook down the lane" line.

Brunswick is now made in Mexico so they have to be good right? hahaha

seriously dude, all the companies make good stuff, but it just all depends on how certain balls/companies match up to your individual game. me personally, i HATE brunswick.....why? because the balls dont roll right at all for me. I am better suited with Hammer/Track/Ebonite equipment for my individual game. Its all a matter of personal preference when it really comes down to it.

There is a lot of good equipment out there, and a lot of stupid people.
Those numbers you can check on any forum site.

Hopefully Ebonite gets back on it because Hammer has been very impressive lately....Not that it matters, it all goes back to the same place lol

x2... add Track and Columbia to that mix as well... the ebonite mantra is definately stepping it up.. and is winning tournaments on the tour... so I would say they are doing ok!

When was the last good Brunswick ball?  Sure if you want a ball that bails on the backend then I guess Brunswick would be the choice.  Unless you throw it like rash Brunswick balls are mush.

Magic Action is better then any Brunswick ball.

Wow, really??? I've never had any problem getting the Brunswick stuff to turn over on the backend and I'm not Shawn Rash by any means. What was the last Brunswick ball you drilled???

I'm guessing the Mission will be an awesome ball and much needed. A guy I know that is on staff with Ebonite and puts a lot of hand in the ball has really struggled with their stuff lately because it burns up and dies. No matter the pattern, surface, or the amount of polish. I'm sure this ball will be much improved over a lot the grit they have released lately. Plus Ebonite sales in my area has been really low recently and the Hammer stuff is through the roof. It all comes from the same place, so maybe they can pass some back on to the Ebonite brand.

I was advised by a friend who throw the Mission that it's a good ball.  He used it out of box then also with some surface, light 1000 grit.  He like them both.
These days with the heavier volume of oil, I prefer balls with little surface.  Even with decent amount of surface, after about 10 shots the ball tames down and is very user friendly

Ebonite has posted a video of their Mission. I'm not gonna lie though - Ebonite has probably the worst bowling ball videos on the market.

Yes, it could have been done better. But I did like the few clips that Ebonite did show of the Mission on the lane. Looks to be very flippy on the backend. Also, if you have Ebonite as a friend on Facebook, they posted a pic of their ball display with the Mission if you want to see what it looks like.

The mission is a very solid ball, I bowl collegiate for Webber International and were sponsored by Ebonite so we got two cases of Missions and we had a tournament this weekend with 5 guys throwing the ball. I must say this ball is phenomenal, smooth and continuous through the mid-lane with a good amount of pop on the back end. Two of us used the ball ALL day today on an ugly 40 foot pattern (an old Summit laying down a sport pattern) and never got an over/under reaction just kept chasing it left.
