Got an NIB recently. Need a very long ball, but one the can turn the corner to kick the corner pins.
My best skid snap is the Vital Energy @ 50x4x35. Small balance hole at P3
But the cover checks the ball up a bit early when the buff/end of the pattern dries up.
causing a more skid/heavy forward roll. (not necessarily a bad thing)
Would the signal be longer/capable of coming back as strong as the Vital?
planning to use it in reverse block patterns, med oil volumes.

I also have a source if that's a better option.

I want to say the intent of the signals was exactly what you are looking for lol.

Signal is definitely long and strong on the back. Nothing close to heavy or early roll. My brother and a couple of other guys love theirs.
When they get really dry, the ball seems hard to control because it does not burn off enough energy.

Having thrown the Vital Energy in the past, the Signals is going to go even longer and be stronger on the back. Even with the Vital, I had issues sometimes when the lanes would get too dry because it would not burn off enough energy in the mids. When I could use the Vital, the ball did a nice job with being clean up front, reading the mids well and had a defined move on the back.
However, the Signals is a ball where if you enjoy opening the lane up as they start to burn up, it can and does work well. Think of it as a Vital Energy that goes longer and has a stronger move in back.

Not sure how helpful this will be because I can't make the comparison and this is purely anecdotal of my experience.
The Signals is the first ball I bought and it was used (bought January 2013). I don't use it anymore, but it got a lot of use at a house that has nororiously dry conditions (don't really bowl there anymore). I really liked this ball in those conditions. I'm medium speed medium to low rev. Stroker) never had issues with this ball staying on line in very light conditions. Always got down the lane easy and made nice move to pocket. It still owns my personal best score of 280.
I liked it and it still sits on my rack. Kind of beat up now and I won't likely use it again, but I'll always keep it as a reminder if where I started and how well I did when I started. Really good ball when lanes are really broken down.

Ok, thanks for that, seems like I can stay with nearly the same layout as my Vital E. or slightly longer (bigger 1st angle), and same 2nd angle.
