i want me a evolve
-
Lane Breaker has the NVD cover on it at a mid-price level should be sweet. It basically sounds like it will be a little longer than the NVD but should be really strong still.
The Evolve should be a backend monster with that high RG. Should be some pretty good equipment.

The number for the break point angle is pretty high, almost as high as the Magic.
-
I am surprised the Lane Breaker is not using the v2 core.....
-
Lane Breaker could be very nice. Core numbers remind me of one of my favorite balls, the Apex Adrenaline!

The Magic has the EXACT same core as the Complete NV. So yes the line takes over the NV line. I think they just wanted to get rid of the NV name because it had the reputation of dying to fast.
-
If I remember right didn't they trim the core from the Complete NV for the Magic. I don't think it is the "Exact" same.

I messaged Ebonite about it and they told me the core was the same the only difference was the coverstock. If you give me a few minutes I should be able to find the e-mail and copy and paste it.

Same cover as the NVD? I may have to consider getting this Lane Breaker since I've done great with mine. Couldn't find anything as to whether is a pearlized version of the coverstock but it could be good one.
-
I cant wait to get my hands on all of these new releases. I think they are taking a good direction in strong covers with weak cores and visa versa. This looks like a good year coming! Just hope to get mine before my regional next month. (The Evolve looks sweet too!!!)

Does anyone know if the Lane Breaker is solid or pearl version of the NVD cover? It seems that it goes alot longer down the lanes than most of the current balls even at 2.51 RG.
-
the lanebreaker looks like it has a pearlized shell.
-
Received my staff balls today ( two of each-magic touch, lane breaker, smash, and boom) all of the colors look really good. the lane breaker looks very good. i hope to start drilling them on wednesday and let everyone know how they roll.

That lane breaker looks good.

all 3 high diff balls, interesting.

Carry is not luck, it's physics.
In my bag... Rogue Cell, Cell Pearl, Widow Venom, Rapid Fire Pearl, Raw Hammer Psycho, Avalanche Slide, Rattler and Storm Paradigm.
-
drilled the lane breaker yesterday and threw it 1 game on THS. it gets down the lane really clean and is good off the breakpoint. Had a lot of similarities to a Black Widow Venom I had. I really like the motion of the ball. I was going to wait and drill my other one but I may go ahead.

Minor question, is the Lane Breaker Asymmetric?
It's probably been posted somewhere, but I can't find it on ebonite's site.

The Lanebreaker is symmetrical. I laid it out the same as my Gamebreaker to compare them. Pin is 1/2" above my ring finger and CG right of my center line a 1/2". this is a 4x3 for me. I really like the roll of the ball and it continues through the pins very well. This is going to be a hot ball. I wont be able to drill the others until thursday and I will let you know about them.

Magic Touch - has got that loopy Angle off the corner. Surprisingly predictable too. Its got that hard arc to the pocket with good continuation.
Lane Breaker - good god!....... absolutely ridicules, beefy monster. It gets down lane great and has a very heavy motion to the pocket. Then i hit it with a fresh 4000 pad and WOW...... It is now the beast of my bag. One of the strongest moves I've seen in a while. Plus, the shelf appeal is great too.

how would the lanebreaker compare to the one pearl? i have the one pearl drilled with the pin above the bridge of my fingers and kicked the MB out to the right. love my reaction from that and was looking to add a gamebreaker and a lanebreaker if its worth it.

Gamebreakers are gone. but the Lanebreaker would be a good fit.
