Definitive answer to the cover on the Raid and Pinslasher
« on: February 21, 2009, 09:51:58 AM »
I just got an answer from Ebonite that the Pinslasher and Raid have SOLID versions of the 12.7 cover. So hopefully that will clear up the confusion.

I am curious too. I know what polished solids and polished pearls look like. And when you shine my pinslasher it looks like a pearl shine. Not saying you aren't correct. But why does mine or ours look like it has pearl?

Mine is 1k and polished looks like a shiny pearl to me but Love that dang ball so who cares. My low game streak is 198 on any pattern still, ball is super smooth and amazing hit to it.

the only thing I can think of is that Ebonite has pearl in it deep down in the cover and the outer surface is a clear solid type cover, perhaps for shelf appeal because it has a pearl look to it.the hammer sauce looks like a pearl also and that's a heavy oil ball, works for me as long as I get the desired reaction from it I'm happy.I get to try mine out tomorrow.

This sounds like the argument everyone had with the SR300.

I still see pearl in it no matter what anyone says it is.I'll be using it tonight along with my playmaker both drilled the same.I hope they're not too close in reaction.my playmaker has been one of the best balls I've used in a few years except for when the heads are slick, hence the purchase of the slasher.I've been wanting a set up like this for awhile now.
