Bye Bye Red/Black Bash
« on: March 02, 2009, 04:16:26 AM »
Called my distributor today asking for a Red/Black Bash.  Said they are now discontinued.  Such a shame.  Great ball for a small price.  That piece made lots of people very happy.

You have bad info because it's the other Bash (purple/yellow) which will no longer be available.

I do not have bad information as all of the Bashes and Clashes are now discontinued.

You guys can stop worrying. Ebonite is not stupid. When the Blue Ice went bye bye they released the Black Ice. Once that went bye bye they put out the Bash Purple/Yellow and then the Red/Black. Follow that theme and you can almost guarantee that there will be another ball coming out soon with the Bash core and a similar or stronger cover.

Same idea with the Puma 100, which then became the Whirl Wind, then the Clash Blue/Yellow, then the Clash Turquoise/Purple. Ebonite is not stupid, they stick with things that work and then just change the name, alter the cover stock a little bit, and WAM, a new bowling ball.

the newest clash has a different weight block than the blue yellow clash, whirlwind, crossfire and puma.

Well that bash was discontunied like sometime last year. I have not heard anything on the red and black one. However I did catch wind the gamebreaker might be out of next years line-up

Are you sure Ebonite dropped it, or a distributor dropped it?
