One Help.......
« on: April 04, 2006, 02:09:30 AM »
I recently drilled up a ONE for my friend. He
is a low rev rate player and throws about 13 to 14
mph. I used the number one drill pattern with the
pin over bridge with the MB 3 inches from his thumb
and X-hole 4 inches from center of grip and a 1/2 inch up.

We bowl on a second shift league where the lanes still have a crown
shot. When he throws the balls the ball looks like it revs up and
sets early not giving him that skid snap reaction you see regulary.
The surface is polished. I was wondering if i have put the weight hole
say 5-1/2 from center of span and a 1/2 down would that make the ball save more energy down the lane. I am thinking having the weight hole close causes the
ball to roll earlier and smooth out the backend reaction.

What do you guys think?

I have to check Trig. I am thinking atleast a half side.

If i brought it down to a half negative wouldn't it make the ball go longer and have more kick?

What should i do Dan.

I dropped it off at the shop yesterday to have the Weight hole plugged.

I am going ot move it out further today to the 5-1/2 or 6 inch mark to see if
it will make a difference.

What do you think?
