The NV
« on: February 18, 2007, 09:55:59 AM »
After first drilling the Total NV.... I decided to drill up the NV. I am very very surprised at what it had to deliver. The carry, roll and versatility the NV provided was above what was expected. Defrinitely a match made in heaven...

arsenal that could surprise many..

Angular ONE
Smash Time Pearl

Thats the exact line-up I want to roll with. Currently it is:

Angular ONE
Total NV
Black Widow
Smash Time Pearl (when it comes in)

"Do you NV me?"
Ebonite Total NV Ebonite Angular One
Hammer Black Widow Storm Pyro
"Ey, Yo Crank! What ball was that?"

Yeah I am most likely going with Pin below fingers with cg kicked out in strong position. Or I might go pin over ring with cg kicked.

DL D,
Really a good looking set up you have there! I just got my TNV on Friday night
but since I kept it OOB condition I couldn't throw it since the oil was thick as molasses

So I used my "No Mercy" (sanded down to about 800g abralon) which for me in that condition is awesome. But today in practice I finally got to use the TNV although when I tried it at first I still couldn't thow it due to the very strong med-oil out there

so after a while I threw it and I really couldn't believe what I nice roll it had while remaining very aggressive to. It had everyone coming up and asking what the h3ll was I was throwing, hehe, good feeling!

I started standing around 18 (w/Rt. foot) and rolling just right of 3rd arrow  and was in awe of the power and carry this had. I eventually moved all the way over to the 30 board (w/Rt. foot) and that really got the locals drooling over the TNV.

It was kinda funny 'cause the local guys (real good bowlers too) tried swinging  theirs out too but it always died on them...LOL! I freaking love Ebonite

 Here's my gears line-up:
<16lb gear>

No-Mercy  <sanded>
Total-ENVY  <OOB>
Infinite One  <1000g Abralon W/ebonites Powerhouse polish>
Angular-One  <2000g Abralon W/ebonites Powerhouse polish>
Maxim (15lb 10-pin)  <W/ebonites Powerhouse polish>

Jake,

The TNV is awesome when taking down the surface. Since it already has as a strong mid lane roll...the addition of surface is BIG!  The TNV is still able to conrol the midlane with surface but retain energy in the roll phase of the lane...

With this being said. Those who did not get the NV will be able to get a great look from the TNV with surface.

check out my review for setup of TNV.

I will give details of the NV setup if requested to....
