Gamebreaker problem
« on: March 03, 2008, 01:00:23 AM »
I notice that I leave pocket 7-10s when I throw my Gamebreaker.  It'll happen maybe once or twice in every 12 games.  I think it's an angle problem beucase of where I stand, but what do you think.  I'd post this in the Misc. forum but I only notice it with this particulare ball.

The ball is 15lbs.   I usualyl stand between 27 - 30 and roll over 12/13.  The ball is drilled leverage at box finish.

Your breathing thru your mouth and not your nose... change that and the 7-10 falls.

Now for a real answer... ball is probably burning up and thus finishing weak, change to get the ball higher into the pocket by either more oil to give more backend or whatever chagne you make to get the ball more flush into the pocket.

it could just be the angle that ball is giving u. Or it could be you are standing to far left. Assuming your ball is hitting flat. My move would be to either move my index finger a little in, or make a 2 and 1 move right. (2 on the approch and one at your mark)

My wife had a small problem the first 3 games with her GB. She stands (usually) 20-22, throws over 15 out to 5 then pocket ( when she's hitting her mark ). I had her move up approx 2 inches. That solved her problem. I will say, she has a hard time moving up or back, she's more the side to side mover so getting her to move up was harder than it sounds. If you move up/back, do NOT change your speed.

Hope this helps.
