Whenever tweaked, covers do not act the same. This ball is very smooth and nice ball for control. I bowled yesterday in a tournament with a guy he was using the Pursuit i was using a V2 his ball was smoother around the corner than mine. Are styles were very much alike and drill patterns were fairly close. The core comes from the original Apex. This ball is a good tournament ball  for keeping in great control of the pocket. It is not flashy but gets the job done. At the price you can find them at it is a good piece.

excellent all around ball.

I had mine drilled 2 different ways and had the coverstock polished and dull.

with a hook set drilling and dull it was greta on a wet/dry. MB under the thumb and polished played very well on second shift conditions.

it would be easy to throw 2 of these in the bag and cover 80% of the THS conditions.
