Drilled my new piece for league, pearl with great core. Long enough, soft ten in practice every time. Noticed others on the pair were missing the head pin on every shot. Went to the Shop and got the Maverick. Most I have used it was two or three frames. Four of my Bowlers have Bowled with it and loved it. Three have purchased it.
All have higher speed than I do.
So end result, went high once, in pocket all night, missed 4 ten pins for a 653.
All it took was a bit more lane dressing . If you have enough oil, this Baby doesn't quit.
Now about that Pearl with the great core, looks to be another great League piece.
Can't tell you the name yet, bet you can figure it.

Cant wait love my maverick! pearl version of this ball??

The maverick a solid. It's really good I like it alot. It reminds me of my NVD from a few years ago. Strong heavy rolling ball that still gets through the fronts even with surface on it. It's a great piece. EBI has been putting out some great great bowling ball's the past 2 years. The R&D tram is hitting home run after home run with all 4 brands.

Phenom Pearl. Check out Ebonite.com Newest Hammer on the way.

EBONITE gamebreaker2 phenom pearl is supposed to be the best GB2 in the series according to my sources after the world series of bowling was completed

My GB2 MVP has its moments [OOB finish]. Not the most reliable ball I have ever used, but when the conditions are right it is amazing.
My Ebonite Adrenaline Shot, however, has been somewhat of an enigma for me. It has virtually no movement on the lane (stacked layout with flare-increasing balance hole). The cover with OOB finish had no tackiness and felt slick like polyester. After several frustrating outings, I put it in the basement. I just brought it up today and tweaked the cover to 500 siaair with factory finish polish. The cover is noticeably tackier after changing to 500+polish, so maybe that will help. Might try to throw a game tomorrow morning to see if there is any change in reaction.
Trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a closeout Ebonite Warrior. I have been wanting a high end pearl asymmetric, so the Warrior might fit the bill.

Best high end pearl asymmetric (IMO) in the line-up right now is the Track Cyborg Pearl.
2 staffers I know both said this ball would be good right away.
Mitch made it look pretty good on Chameleon as well in route to PBA title on yesterdays show

Though to be fair the Cyborg Pearl is on the low end of the asymmetric scale with a .007 mass bias. Not that it makes it less of a great ball, because it is. Something that stands out in the very crowded ball market today. That's hard to do.
