Topic (fodder) for another post..

BUT, I've had all manner of balls lose their reaction to some extent.

However, my TNV died and never came back. I never had a ball just die like that.

Oh well..I still have several pieces from them that are still going strong..

--------------------
Yes. it's I, the Inverted One..

I got a TNV with a couple hundred games on it. One Haus resurface and a bake and it is still as good as ever. It never really lost much but I wanted to freshen it up.

That said I probably have had a few hundred balls from Ebo and Storm and while a few years back SOME Ebonites tired out lately I have to agree with jls....it is the Storms wearing out.

And also I disagree with stopcrank...not ALL balls quit hooking. Some fade, some don't, most can be brought back.

Just my .02
--------------------

Not all balls hook forever either, and that goes for ANY company out there. I never said it was JUST Ebonite, all companies equipment looses reaction sooner or later as lane oils advance. Thats just a fact of bowling. Ive got an AMF Angle Evoloution Pearl with well over 500 games, and while it still hooks, its nothing like it used to be because lane oil has advanced so much since it came out. But, to sit here and say its just one companies equipment thats doing it is just being ignorant and blinded.

Taking your lunch money, one strike at a time....

I don't mean to bash you like jls has....well actually I can't help it. Cause you are making very stupid comment.

If lane oil advancements are causing your Angle to hook less that does not mean it has died. It means the lane you are throwing it down has less friction.

And as I stated....I own a few hundred balls and have thrown a few hundred others so please don't tell me not all balls hook forever....you simply are not informed on that comment. I have many pieces that hook the same as ever. I have 15 year old equipment that will compete with the big hooking stuff out today.

And finally I believe I stated that Ebo stuff had some longevity issues a few years back (just as jls did) and that Storms are having those issues lately. Also had many Trimax derived covers from Ebonite crack a few years back while lately it has been EOX stuff breaking. (r2s and r2x are derived from EOX and I would assume r3x probably is too although I have yet to confirm this)

So, in closing, I love Storm, Roto, Ebonite equipment. I am impressed by the other Hopville stuff. I like Lane 1. Most companies are building good stuff (except for the burrito balls...screw them) I am not here to bash...just to clarify. Yet you dig your hole deeper by arguing with me too.  That's dumb.

Storm has some issues going on lately.

Ebonite has not.

Got it?
--------------------

Hey complete...  I think you got me confused with someone else... I made no such post about any angle hooking less...

However as far as some Storm balls having issues,  yes that was me....

Arguing over ball death?
Please go to another thread, sip on a hot cup of cocoa and suck on a lollipop !!

Rather than argue about ball death......why not go outside and check out the wind direction ???

If you're not careful, the high winds may blow the roof of your trailer !!

Is it always so nasty here.  I mean really, it's bowling, just bought a Nasty and it's doing ok, have a Columbia Resurgance which is fantastic.
Surprising to see the Mission do so well back to back, and the pro shop guy says they're selling like wildfire and people are scoring great with them.
I'm not as rich as you guy are so my ball has to last a couple of years, still averaging a decent 210 with my one ball.

Not confused jls....go back and read the thread. My comment about the Angle was in response to some idiotic statement by stopcrank.

It is amazing to me to see idiots sit on here and argue with shop owners and workers about issues that are at the heart of our business. Funny stuff.

Lets see.. hmm Wild Ride, Wild Thing (was ok), Python, Ultra Zone, Maxx Zone, Copperhead... all crapola in my hands! The C-system I loved until I started trying other stuff, and liked that equipment better. So again.. the c-system series is the only thing Big B has going for them.. and the c-system 3.5 is the best thing they have right now.. Any other questions?

Its relevant in the fact.. that you have not proved to be legitimate in any way shape or forum. The first time I see you post anything... its about go with Big B to avoid ball death, in an Ebonite forum. I am the juvenile though right... man slap yourself!

I put a review up on the Mission. Layout is same as MA but with a stronger weight hole. 33*-4 3/8"-33* dual angle with the hole in the p4. (MA hole is in the p3)

After throwing it again yesterday I remain impressed. Played a weak hand position 15 to 8, the groove seemed to be around 18 to 9, and I got in a wheeled on it a bit and played about 30 to 12. All three lines looked VERY scoreable with this ball.

The hit is very good, I would say a touch better than the MA and it is a bit stronger too. I think it was very receptive to hand position changes and this is a must for balls for me to recommend them.
