Should any Ebonite guru here recommend to us a versatile ball which can cover more of the lane conditions ? If not, from dry to medium conditions would also be good...thanks

IMO, V2 Sanded.

I'd have to go along with azguy too and say the V2 Sanded. It can easily cover lighter conditions for me with proper surface adjustment. But more along the lines of lighter patterns would be the V2 Clean. That ball covers light to medium with ease. Too bad they're hard to come by now a days.

Maybe, for the most part, the entire (older) V2 Line was about as versatile as you got, for Ebonite, JMO

v2 sanded is a very versatile ball. Shine it goes long and straight, dulled it can hook a bunch. One of the best benchmark balls and house shot ball ( IMO )

The TPC Shooter... for medium to medium-dry conditions. Mine can do wonders, it really impressed me after I got some stable release, and it is a late game favorite for me.
I think the coverstock is still in use on current balls in the mid-price range, but I am not sure. Nice piece, just looks like a bubble gum ball ![](../Forum/icon_smile_wink.gif)

Look no further than the V2 Sanded.
It is the most versitle ball since the Black U-Dot.

Yes I would agree with the V2 sanded, with some polish, or try the clean. I've haven't gotten to try my clean yet(Conditions aren't dry enough yet!). You could try the V2 dry, drill a little stronger.
Or you s
can try the tornado, or the tornado warning, or the ice/black ice!

v2 .Does that sound similiar?I feel you can use the balls on almost any condition by altering the surface and layouts.
