Need advice on cleaning The One and Big One
« on: April 14, 2006, 11:56:30 AM »
I need some advice on cleaning my new Ebonite's - The One and The Big One. For several years I've used Ebonite Powerhouse cleaner as my standard cleaning agent. However, I've noticed over the years that that cleaner seems to "shine" my matte bowling balls. So, I've started using Track's "Clean and Dull" instead. It's good but a little more time consuming - and towel consuming as well. No problem though. So.......I clean my bowling balls after every use, usually right after I get home - say 30 minutes tops after use. Is that reasonable? Secondly, how often should I take my bowling equipment into the shop for "de-oiling"? I bowl twice a week, only once a week in summer, and rarely practice so figure 6 games a week. And other bowling ball care....when and how often?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Chuck

CND is worth the extra effort. You will not find a better cleaner to keep your equipment top notch period. Take your time with the cleaning and the ball will give you more than its money worth back.
