Overtime with a RICO!! RESULTS!!!!
« on: November 22, 2006, 11:31:01 PM »
I just picked up an Overtime with a Rico drilling. I just wondered if anyone had tried this, and what type of reaction I can expect from it? Also, what's the most success you've had with change of surface on the Overtime? THanks!

Plug and redrill. I'd say put the pin under the ring (not sure actual layout) but mine rolls really well 1000-800 grit. I never really tried at higher grits
but i never needed too.

Any special reason on the plug and redrill?

Here's a link to the pic of the ball:

I've always favored pin right of ring, cg stacked drilling, but have started to have my share of luck with pin over the fingers too. I love my Rico drilled Radical Inferno though.

FYI... that's not a true "Rico"

How much difference do you REALLY think that will make?

Who the heck cares... but the term "Rico" is way overused anyhow and it's a gimmick drill.

Give them a half inch and next thing you know people will be calling pin below bridge Rico.

The X-Hole isn't quite 6 3/4" either, that alone would make a difference.

O.K. got to try this beast out tonight before league. Freshly oiled pair, THS. Shot 256 first game. The carry and recovery is just sweet with this ball. It seemed no matter how far out I got it, it came right back to the pocket- HARD. I wanted this to fit "under" my Big One, looks like it can handle more oil, and may fit above it instead. Has a great move to the hole, the backend just keeps driving, very pleased with it.

My league scores didn't touch the practice game though. Our pair seemed a little drier and jumpy, so the Overtime was too much. Great ball, should fit in nicely in my lineup though.
