new ebonite balls approved by the PBA today!

i found an original Turbo X in my garage today and was lookin to see if it was still approved for use on the pba and found some new balls approved today!!

thought id share with the ebonite peeps here.

Big Time Pearl  navy/silver pearl
Crossfire  red/gold
Nitro R2 - classic  purple
Puma - classic  black/gold
V2 Power  purple/teal/red
XXXcel  black/purple/magenta

theres also some new colors for the Tornado's/T-warning's/Maxim's

doesnt say anything on Ebonite's website, but perhaps some people on here might have some inside info.

would be nice to see some resin stuff come out after the last few particle releases

But if they didn't change the core wouldn't they just be remaking the Game Time? BTM considers the Game Times cover to be particle pearl, even if it doesn't appear to be very pearl.

My guess is that is pearl reactive...

I'm a huge ebonite fan. I just drilled me up a new XXcel and I tell you what I am so impressed I thought this ball would be too much hand  for me but after thinking about how to drill it and tame it down for me.. I tell you what I want to go out and get a Xcel Pearl and with the edition of the XXXcel coming out I will have one of those the day it comes out. I think ebonite is the company of the future and one day I hope I can be sponsored by this company cause this company is number one and with these balls coming out they will show why.

If it's .075, then its illegal isn't it?  I thought that the USBC changed it to .06

The rule went into affect Feb. 1st of this year, so the it can't be more than .60

Who cares if they r approaved by the PBA If they r not Approved by the USBC then more than half of u guys cant use them.

To my knowledge, the XXXcel was release AFTER the Feb.1st deadline, so it should not have a diff. greater than .60

I was wondering is this XXXcel going to be a pearlized ball that is coming out or are they sticking with the dull look on this ball. I'm hoping its pearlized...cause I will have one on order as soon as I talk to my distrubter...
