First off, what demo was that in? What city? And then I can tell you what really happened.  I've been the demo leader for two years now. And can guaranty that there was a miscommunication or something like the drilling on this ball might not be the best for her. So what demo was this in?

Was able to drill one of them and throw it on our house pattern. Layout was 60 x 4 1/2 x 35 with no hole. The exceed was left at box 3000 surface. If you like the innovate, you'll love this ball! I loved all of my innovates and it's still my go to ball. This ball gives me the same motion that I love from my innovate through the pins just stronger through the body of the pattern. I haven't had a ball pick up in the mid lane and continue like this since the gamebreaker. This ball allows me to jump 7 boards in with my feet and about 5 at the arrows with a same drilling innovate. These two balls complement each other very well! Compared to some of the other dull balls in the ebonite line up this ball was about 3 boards stronger than the perservre and 3 boards weaker than the challenge. The perservre allows me to square up more to the pattern where the exceed and challenge let me open up the pattern more. I'm very impressed with the last 6 balls ebonite has put out and I'm looking forward to 2013 with ebonite! Bowl to win!!

met the guy that's on the ad for this ball at a demo after being there for about 10 minutes he made my wife so mad that we ended up leaving the demo and I have not bought another ebonite ball since.

Wow. Sure hate to hear that. I work with Anthony on almost a weekly basis although not everyone can always mesh personality wise he is normally liked by most. I wasn't there so I cant say one way or another but we are all human and have our off days. I hope you find you way back to EBI products one day and even a Demo. They are worth a second chance lots of good stuff coming out now days!

Bowl well and Happy Holidays!

Hi, just a quick question, so if i'm needing a longer ball than an innovate that i have now, i shouldn't get an exceed?  Would another innovate with a longer layout be a better choice?

For more length and slower transition at the breakpoint try 30°x5.5"x45°.

If you are worried about it blowing past the breakpoint a 30°x4.875"x45° will start up earlier.

Hi, those numbers are too low for me. (Nearly 90 degrees of rotation, 3-5 degrees of tilt). But anyway, did you mean, that i get another innovate?

I admit I didn't have all the info I needed before and just tossed in average tilt and rotation in the system.

Don't feel comfortable making a recommendation for someone with tilt and rotation like that.

Curious what aspect of the numbers you were referring to when you said "too low"?

I went to the Demo in Atlanta GA and came out impressed with the Exceed. I also liked the First Blood and the 714C but the Exceed had better carry than the other 2 balls for me. The Exceed may very well be the next ball I buy,but I have questions. What is the difference between the Warning Sign and the Exceed? Looks like the same VERVE core on the latest ads but I did see some advertisements where the Warning Sign had a Vital Sign core. Did the Warning Sign have a different core at one time? I see different covers but both are hybrids HTR 2 and 3. What is the difference in the covers?

I am asking because I can get a Warning Sign a lot cheaper at the present time than an Exceed. But I need to know the difference and whether or not I get a ball that may have a different core than the Exceed if get a Warning Sign.

Also of note. Anthony was real helpful at the Demo. He suggested me trying the Exceed while I was using the 714C. I was striking but leaving a lot of single pins also. The Exceed had more continuation through the pin deck carrying almost every pocket hit.

Look on Ebonite's website! It shows the Warning Sign has the Verve core with the HTR coverstock! The Exceed has a Hybrid HTR 3.0 coverstock, so they are different! The Innovate has a polished HTR 3.0 coverstock with a Verve core! So all 3 are different with variations in coverstock! Just my $.02, Bruce
