Title: New releases for EBI
Post by: SVstar34 on June 14, 2019, 01:05:30 PM
Anyone seen the info on the new releases coming? I got talked into a league that gives a Turbo/R or Beast so curious to see what's coming since symmetrics have been the big talk

We've obviously seen the info on all the big B stuff and there's info on the Motiv Ripcord so where's the EBI info

Hammer has the Sauce and Orange Vibe on Tuesday.  Ebonite has the new Destiny's.  I'm sure there's more from across the brands announcing soon in correlation with Bowl Expo.

I meant the more stuff coming. Chaos Black, Futura, One Tour Edition, Heat Lava on approved list.

I wish the Vibes were an option from this league instead of the Beasts or Turbo/R

More info will be coming soon.  As far as the Vibes being included in your league, would they not offer you an upgradable price for the Vibe?  I run programs like that all the time and offer upgrades.  May be worth asking.

I'm pretty surprised info hasn't leaked publicly yet, I've caught word of a few of the releases, but i'm not able to share yet. Info will be out soon with Bowl Expo right around the corner, EBI will not be quiet...

Chaos Black and Futura are domestic, one tour Edition and Amazing Tactix are overseas.

I am not 100% sure on Heat but I think its Domestic..

The hot ball talk right now is the Magenta Solid Destiny and the Beast Purple Sparkle  which are out.
Supposed to be killer for the medium/lower volume patterns.

Ive seen a few of the other mentioned above and there will be an announcement in a week or so.
They look amazing

Well..

The Heat Lava is definitely the most intriguing to me. Pairing the Q7 Pearl with the 2.50/.038 core stands out to me.

The GSV-1 cover on the Futura puts that above what I was hoping to see

Have thrown the Futura and the Chaos Black.
The Futura is a GB2 on steroids, especially downlane.
Went with a pin under bridge, 4.5" from PAP
the midlane read seems similar to the GB2/GB3 IOM.
It shines downlane and the continuation through the pins is noticeably more IMO
needs some volume at OBB surface for the best shape from my limited use.

Chaos Black - was expecting a sharp, responsive move downlane.
Went with a high pin 4.75" from PAP, almost right above ring finger.
Clean up front, but its a polished solid cover, so strong boomerang type move downlane which I can best describe as a combination of angular/round, not a hockey stick motion, but a blended stronger shape which was controllable for me.
This isn't a shape I would normally go after, but intriguing and something I don't currently have in the bag

Magenta Destiny - short and sweet - a lot of ball for 90 bucks, strong cover with the cyclone core inside, reads a bit thard at the friction for me in limited use.
I was much more intrigued by the other 2 to use this alot.

Futura definitely stays in the bag, I can see having another one with a different layout.
Black Chaos, undecided if I will keep it, having such good luck with the BW pink, Orange vibe, Hammer Sauce and few others right now.

Best part of that heat lava is being able to get an ultra heat for $80 shipped.  If that Futura is much stronger than the GB3 (really falling in love with that ball) not going to be much use for me.  Still cool looking pieces EBI has right now and coming.

I wouldn’t say “much” stronger, but same midlane read and then 2-4 more boards off the pattern depending on rev rate, ball speed, etc
