Staffers have already been able to order this ball. Kind of curious about the core I'm assuming based off of information on the original V2 and past balls with the Trimax cover, it will be a earlier rolling benchmark kind of ball. But don't quote me on that.

The current GB line already uses an enhanced V2 core.  This new ball seems like it will just be a really strong GB.

Maybe call it a Futura?

Hmm wonder if these will end up being collector's items mostly given to Brunswick staff.
Here today.  Gone tomorrow.

Or they'll be just like the Track Phoenix. Always seemed like it had a good core/cover for success

So does this mean there are plans on discontinuing something?  Seems like a lot of current balls that are too similar (GBs, Futura, and now V2)

Plans  were to have 7000 made for 2019 and another limited run next year.
This years batch has been made and is shipping out to Distributors and Staffers.
National Ebonite Staffers each got 1. Every one else has to pay for theirs.
That was the plan as of last Thursday. Hope this answers questions.

Next batch won't say Made in the USA on them.  Some value to that first batch imo even if at top shelf price (though granted way overused that core lately).  As far as any later batches anybody that pays $165 for a Mexican ball hasn't yet learned Buddies will have it for $100 in six weeks.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but the days of the cheap “Mexican balls” could be slowly ending. Brunswick will be controlling a large percentage of the market, which gives them much more power than they’ve had up to now.

Maybe true but pre-ordered one from first batch because it will be the only one ever made in Kentucky and have Made in the USA on the ball.  Probably won't matter but nothing is for sure (if even there are more batches, that are just as good etc) plus people aren't always rational when scarcity is involved (only batch guaranteed to be unique).  Just looks to be a pretty cool EBI USA last hurrah ball don't mind owning regardless.
