Next Mission?
« on: April 26, 2010, 05:21:42 PM »
Any idea when there will be another mission.  I need something above my mission in my arsenal, drilled up a c-system 3.5 & i HATE it, just cant seem to get the look i want with it.

I'm not saying the ball becomes symmetrical.  Read the post.  Look at just the core. Remove the nub at the MB on the Mission 1.0 core and it's a symmetrical core.  I never said anything about the ball being symmetrical after drilling, just the core.

didnt mean to upset you...from what i read i thought you were talking about symmetricals becoming assymetricals (which is true and a lot of people do not realize it). I was just putting out there that ebonite did a good job designing the mission core so that it takes a lot of after-=drilling RG/Diff. changes out of play

You should have drilled the 3.5 pin under.  That's how mine is with the MB in the strong position.  Everybody I know who drilled theirs pin up hates it says it goes too long.  With the pin under it seems like it gets into a roll earlier and is more controllable

my pin up 3.5 works just fine, thank you.

My pin up is working good.. With a slight hand change at release I can make the ball skid flip or smooth rolling. Ball does read friction rather fast to I just have to keep the speed up. The ball reacts differently and on conditions that my other stuff won't move on. Carrys everything.

This is a good thing for a ball driller that doesn't want to fine-tune the ball reaction I guess. IMO, it makes the ball less versatile by limiting the effects of a well-placed balance hole.

its a good thing because it keeps the weight block in tack and doesnt change the characteristics of the ball
