Predator Pursuit v. original Apex
« on: February 18, 2005, 02:28:15 PM »
My primary ball is an original Apex, very light green Scotchbrite matte finish. This ball is very versatile, and I can always find an adjustment to increase carry. 3" pin, pin 1" above and to right of ring finger, CG on line between thumb and ring finger, bomb 3/4" to right of thumb. I'm a tweener, lowish track, not a spinner. Very consistent shot maker. I have a NIB Predator Pursuit 3" pin to CG, 2" cg to bomb stacked. Got the PP based on review that indicated if you liked Apex will like PP. How are balls similar, different? How would I drill PP to duplicate Apex? Is there a better way to drill PP based on what ball was designed to do? Thanks for any input.

they have the same fusion core, but i have owned both and even though they have a similar reaction shape, the apex is much stronger. if you drill them the same, you'll see a much weaker arc from the PP.

Thanks bigearv14. You're results are not what I expected to hear so I'm very appreciative of your input, will help me make a better choice when drilling.
