The cores are nearly the same. Anyone rolled them both? I've never liked trimax. It rolls too early for my taste.

Well the Puma is pearlized Trimax so I doubt it would roll too early for you. Basically the Puma is a stronger overall ball with more backend. The Cross fire will give you the same overall look just do less of it on the lane. A very good one two punch. Everyone loves the Light Bulb core very smooth rolling design. Puma is good first out of the bag on a THS and the Cross fire could be pulled out late in a league set or for a lighter THS IMHO. I have seen the Puma roll and just bowled with a buddy of mine Monday night and his freshly punched Crossfire. Like I say same overall ball motion just less boards covered by the Cross Fire or possibly same boards just on less oil. Both are really good balls.

Thanx. That's helpful. I've had an Ice and a Vortex I. I believe both were pearlized trimax. Both started too early in the midlane for me unless there was a ton of head oil. I like the way the Trimax arcs, it's just a little strong/early for the oil volumes I see.
