Title: Question About The One Remix
Post by: n00dlejester on December 09, 2022, 11:29:55 AM
Hello Ebonite fam,

I'm looking to fill a slot in my bag, for a pin up 'big ball.' Would a The One Remix at 2k or 3k be able to shape on longer and/or heavier oil?

In theory, it's possible. There's just a lot of different variables in the equation, but it does have a strong cover and core.

I'll add the caveat that high int. Diff cores like the One can be touchy depending on layout and bowler specs.

I've had some good success with larger int. diff cores (Dream On; Virtual Gravity and its' many incarnations; Sure Lock was kind of high; Global's Incpetion balls were real high). I found that it's all about getting those balls to flare a bit in the oil so they can continue rather than stand up and quit).

Either way, I like the sound of a strong cover on that ball. Does the cover use that HK22 stuff?

I think there's only 5 balls so far with HK22 base.

Brutal Collision (looks pretty impressive if you don't mind the colors, would fit similar to the One)
Defender Hybrid
Top Speed
BigFoot Hybrid
3D Offset Attack
