Title: Savage Flip
Post by: tisker on September 25, 2003, 06:38:52 PM
My house ate my Too Hot so I've got a $140 credit at the proshop.  I'm looking at a Flip. Anyone use it?  Anyone like it?

its bigger than a too hot

drilled one for my buddy

4 3/4 x 4 (pin in ring finger hole)

he gets a nice arc out of it-not as flippy as i thought, but of course drilling would not support that flip

HE LOVES IT

Dont swing it-if you cant bring it

When in doubt-swing it out

This ball was quite uncontrollable for me. Was drilled about 4x4.
The response of the ball was highly dependant on the axis of rotation.
In my hands, either it skidded right past the breakpoint, or took off past Brooklyn.  I will say it has an incredible backend if that is what you are looking for.

Tried balance holes, sanding, never got it took work like I wanted.  Sanded it read the lane too early for a length ball.

I am going to look into the Monster SlayR for this slot.

Good Luck,
Scott
