Well I say the best ball of those 3 is the XXXcel because it is a very strong solid reactive with no particle load.  The pearl Xcel can be over under and the XXcel is very good overall ball and has good backend for a particle but is just that a particle.  I always if only picking one ball want some type of solid reactive but this is just me and maybe not everyone.  XXXcel out of box is a big hooking ball but the surface can be easily shined to tame it down.  From what I have seen and i have been around a lot of Ebonite for about 3 or so years this is the best ball they have made in quite a while.  The V2 Power is also right up there.

I'm editing I almost forgot about the Xcel particle,  Most people round here much prefer the XXcel over the Xcel, I again think this was a case of ebonite not getting it just right which is why we saw the XXcel so soon after the Xcel.  My driller/staffer with Ebonite likes his Xcel particle because he knows it is a good 5 or 6 boards weaker than his XXcel.  I guess the Pearl Xcel was never on of the balls you were inquiring about,  too early for my brain to fully function.

I guess your looking for particle balls..First i´vet never throe any Xcel ball.
But i´vet thought about getting me a Xxcel for the heavy oil stuff.
The Xxcel particle is the ball that hooks the least of all 3.
Then its the Xxcel. And last the Xxxcel.

The Xcel reaction is arcing, at least 5+ bords less then the Xxxcel.
The Xcel is a more of mead oil ball. Don´t know how it works in heavy oil.

The Xxcel is more a flippy ball. It´s a med to heavy oil ball. I think it´s the ball you can use on most oil conditions.

The Xxxcel is a only for heavy stuff. It has a very strong arcing reaction.
I think you have to have a very long oil condition so the ball dosen´t burn out.

I can´t recomend any of these balls ,but I think the XXcel is the most alround choise of these 3.

I have the XXcel and Xcel Particle. I like the XXcel over the particle, not because the particle,, but a better reaction, a few more boards covered and the backend is better, for me at least.

The XXXcel is on my wish list. I think, from the tech side of it, the XXXcel will be more the heavy oil (only) ball, and produce a stronger backend ( if drilled properly) and you can keep it in some oil. I'd also think, if you hit to much lite/dry, you'll be in trouble with this one.

If I had your choice, I'd go XXXcel, but then , I already have the XXcel.

Best I can do, hope this helped.

I was wanting more of a particle look, I have smooth reactives with backend already (v2 power, absolute inferno). I wanted something smoother for when I need something to roll harder thru the fronts. Thanks for the responses, keep them coming please.

On Ebonites homepage they said the ball is for light to med oil.
