need a little advice
« on: February 21, 2007, 05:10:57 AM »
I got a columbia action max as a gift and my brother loves columbia balls i like ebonite and hammer so I told him I would give him the ball if he brought me the ebonite ball of my choice I was looking at the one series whats the best choice of that series or what other ebonite ball would equal up to the action max.

Yeah, The One is the best of its line and the Infinite One is likely closest to the Action Max.

The Angular One is the best of the One series IMO. I got one now and I like it better then my One!

I asked my driller what he thought was the best ball and most recommended right now and he loves the Special Agent but he says the Angular is the most versatile and recommended ball out right now, but thats just his opinion.

I've seen a lot of people throwing the Total NV but I've noticed that many people cant hit with it until the 3rd game after some breakdown. I havent seen many people throw it well in heavy oil.

The Angular was built for heavy inspite of the polished finish. I rolled on Monday and everyone else was playing a slow direct line, not to slide in the oil but I could swing it a little with my normal 15mph speed and it came back every time, no matter how I threw it. Its amazing. It feels good when your throwing a ball that you can see hooking from lane to lane in heavy oil and everyone else's balls are just gliding through the 3 and 6 pins. It makes you look like you got so much hand but you know its more of the ball then you. Best ball I've thrown yet.

Boy, talk about getting sidetracked.

FYI the Angular One may be a great ball but it is NOT anything like the Action Max.

bragbowlin,

May I politely suggest you find out what you need rather than what you want?

Charlest you are right....but the AO provides a better reaction and overall benchmark status than the AM. Plus add the fact it responds to surface adjustments much better.....
